Hey DragonLady, how do you feel about kids yelling, spanking or beating their parents in public? - just curious.
I find it annoying most of the time when I'm saying something and people can't wait to start the one upsmanship contest. Usually, you barely get finished speaking and they'll start with "It's like..." No, it isn't. It's exactly like I just described it!! I used to do that and realized that I wasn't conversing at all, just trying to get some words in. I quit doing that and becameoooooooooooooooooooooetter listener and ml,; pmpmommmmmmmmmmmmpp

Never dreamed of aliens myself. Oddest dream for me was having a really bizarre dream and someone shaking me to wake me up. I thought how bizarre was that dream and then I woke up. So I was dreaming that I was dreaming bizarre dreams. How common is that sort of thing? - I just want to know so I'll know if I'm an individual or part of some strange group. :)

Ever have the shame of knockin on your schoolmates doors as a kid?
by xnmad inever wanted the floor to just swallow you up?then spent the rest of the wkend shittin it coz of whats gonna happen when you walk through the school doors on monday morning.think its affecting my parenting skills as an adult though coz am so aware of how my children feel about things, and the importance of never making them feel awkward or embarrassed.makes me wonder how much my parents thought of my feelings?i think they thought any bullying was a necessary form of torture, and would help me feel as christ did,i was probably sposed to enjoy it.

Can't remember knocking on a classmates door but I know that some of them saw me being dragged along in service. It would really have been embarrassing to have to give them a presentation at their door.
I guess it was obvious even to other kids that I was being forced to do things I didn't want to. So, they seemed to cut me a lot of slack in that way. Thankfully! I was already such an easy mark! lol -
